Meet Kathy Davis, an integral member of our community choir and OIGC's Board of Directors. In her day-job, she serves as Director of Finance for Family Paths, a nonprofit organization committed to providing essential mental health and supportive services to individuals and families in need in Oakland and throughout Alameda County. Kathy's journey as our Board Treasurer began in January 2022, and since then, her dedication and seriousness have proved vital in ensuring the financial health and sustainability of OIGC.
Kathy's commitment to detail is second to none. She brings a wealth of expertise to our organization. Her deep attention to financial intricacies and her passion for our mission ensure that every dollar is well accounted for, contributing to the long-term success of OIGC. She has been a fantastic partner for me in steering our organization, and I value her candor and care. Ever-ready with questions and encouragement, Kathy has also opened her home to host Board events, helping to foster camaraderie and strengthen our cohesion. She gets the serious stuff done and is always ready with a laugh. Plus, she makes a mean cocktail! 🍸
